Volume 6/Issue 41 Assumption Life June 11, 2025
Our Mission
We are Assumption Catholic School, a ministry of the Church of the Assumption. As a diverse community, we excel in academics and model Christ where each individual is safe, nurtured, respected, and treasured.
Together we pray
A Prayer of Gratitude at the Close of the School Year
God of wisdom, We thank You for all the gifts You have given us throughout this school year. We praise You for giving us life, for saving us in Christ, and for choosing us to be Your people.
Now, as this school year comes to a close, we lift up our gratitude for the good things You have done inus, and we give thanks for all who have shared in the work of this school.
Bless our teachers, staff, students, and families in Your love. Grant them rest, refreshment, and peace.
We praise You, God, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns forever and ever.
Amen.
Have a joyful, safe, and blessed summer!
Together we can
Focus On Solutions
Instead of focusing on blame, focus on solutions.
1) Identify a problem.
2) Brainstorm for as many solutions as possible.
3) Pick one that works for everyone.
4) Try the solution for a week.
5) In a week, evaluate. If it didn't work start over.
