Asking for your input for the 2020-2021 School Year Thank you to those families who have already filled out our 2020-2021 Situations Survey to help us better understand how we can prepare for the new school year. Your input will be used along with directives from the Alameda County Health Department and Oakland Diocese Department of Catholic Schools to continue to plan for the new school year. We are currently working on an addendum to our School Parent Student Handbook that will highlight key focus areas including health and safety, personnel and finances, facilities, and instructional practices. This addendum will be ready for families starting in mid-June with updates throughout the summer as we receive guidance. Assumption Catholic School honors Class of 2020 with visit Assumption Catholic School 8th graders Class of 2020 got a special visit from the staff and faculty on Sunday, May 24, to honor and celebrate their upcoming graduation.
Assumption School names our second trimester junior high honors students Junior high students in the 6th through 8th grades who received 95 percent or higher in their second trimester report cards are honored for their hard work. Honors students average between 95 to 97 percent in all their core classes and support classes. Distinguished honors students average a 98 percent or higher in all their core classes and support classes. Congratulations on all your hard work! Certificates will be available on the last days of school during your designated pick up times.

Assumption School extends Long Term Dismissal to April 8 The Diocese of Oakland Department of Catholic Schools has informed all Diocesan schools that we will be implementing the Long-Term Dismissal until April 8, Holy Wednesday.Easter Break will begin on Holy Thursday, April 9 and last until Monday, April 20. During the break, the school faculty and staff will not be sending home lessons or implementing any class video conferencing.
