good morning sunshine today is Friday June 4th 2021 LT would like to say Welcome to our new priest Father John member of the Assumption and look forward to seeing when you have in store for the parish and the school assumption is great school and we welcome you with open arms please join me in welcoming Father John Annabelle this week we have heard how Jesus loves us and is our friend today we hear how the early Christians were called friends we are all called to be friends in Jesus and then the father Son and Holy Spirit in ER a reading from the third letter of John to the Elder to the Beloved Giants my love injured beloved I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health just as is well with your soul I was overjoyed when some of the friends arrived and testify to your faithfulness to the truth namely how you walk through the church I have no Greater Joy than this to hear that my children are walking in the truth you loved you Faithfully whatever you do for the friends even though they are strangers to you they're testified to your Loved Before the church the word of the Lord think about this guy only in your heart how can you share your love boyfriend holy and loving God may we all be sisters and brothers and neighbors and friends do your son G in his name we pray Amen in the name of father son Holy Spirit please remove your hats and hoods and stand for the Pledge of Allegiance I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all please join insane the Miss mission statement we are Assumption Catholic School a Ministry of the Church of the Assumption as a diverse Community we excel in academics and model cry where each individual is safe nurtured respected and treasured tomorrow is World environment day it was established in 1974 with 143 countries participating each year there is a focus theme and this year the focus is on ecosystem restoration ecosystem restoration is the process of restoring or renewing damaged ecosystems one thing you can do play a rain guard that helps absorb rain water running off of roof or asphalt the ringer and acts as a layer of filtration for water that will eventually end up in the bay and ocean let's work together the damage was caused to Mother Earth hey something the Women's u.s. Open has started and is going strong it is also happening just next door to us at the Olympic Club in San Cisco the tournament will end on Sunday in $1000000 will be awarded to the win the women's US Open is the oldest of all the LPGA tour's major championships it was established in 1940 and this year the tournament is celebrating its 75th anniversary and this weekend one of the women who will be competing is from the Bay Area her name is Paula Creamer and when she was only twenty-three she won this tournament getting to a million dollars in earnings younger and faster than any other play player this year at age 34 which is considered a veteran age for golf she's competing again even after withstanding wrist surgery good luck to Paula Creek Paula Creamer and all the other women competing this weekend congratulations to the 8th graders although it may be hard for you to say goodbye to some wish you all lots of luck for high school we hope you enjoyed your dinner dance last night and again congratulations on graduating eighth-grade all of a sumption is very proud of you we wish you all the very best buy hi sumption today completes the new NFL teams first weeks together we have been moving along and working very well together in honor of it being our first week together I have a quote to share together we can face any challenges as deep as the ocean and as high as the sky by Sonia Gandhi when does the school year you can think back to all the challenges you have faced and overcame with your class this year since it's our second to last Friday before the school year ends make sure it's a fantastic Friday thank you
