My name is Cathy McConnell and I am a vice principal at Assumption School. As a vice principal, I support our fabulous principal, Mrs. Lana Rocheford. My main activities at school include, helping students in the classroom and on the playground, supporting teachers with all aspects of teaching, and overseeing a variety of administrative roles.

 

Before I became a vice principal, I taught at Assumption in second grade for nine years and then in 4th grade for 16 years. I taught preschool for several years and worked in many after school and summer camp programs.I am a product of Catholic education, and I am thrilled to support the education of our students in this faith-filled setting.

 

When not working in education, I love to hike, travel, cook, read, work in my garden and play with my dog.

 

It has been a great pleasure to the a part of the Assumption School all these years and I continue to love working with and supporting the children and families of this wonderful community.
