Our Mission
We are Assumption Catholic School, a ministry of the Church of the Assumption. As a diverse community, we excel in academics and model Christ where each individual is safe, nurtured, respected, and treasured.

Prayer for the Feast of Saint Matthias
Loving God,
On this Feast of Saint Matthias, we remember a man who stepped into your plan with quiet faith and courage. Though he was chosen later, he served with the same devotion as the others, reminding us that your call can come at any time—and that all of us have an important part to play.
Help us to follow his example: to say “yes” when we’re called, to serve with joy, and to remain faithful even when the path is uncertain. May our school be a place where every student feels included, needed, and inspired to live out your love.
As Saint Matthias once said,
"It is not we who have chosen God, but God who has chosen us."
May we respond to that call with grateful and generous hearts.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Parent/Teacher Handbook Corner
Parent Hours Due May 31, 2025
All families will sign a School Parent Agreement agreeing to participate in the service program at the time of registration. No child will be accepted into the school until such a School Parent Agreement is signed. The school will provide parents with a comprehensive list of needed services to the school. This should make the task of choosing possible activities an easy matter for parents. This list will be available at the time of registration and will be updated throughout the course of the school year. Any outstanding hours as of April 30 will be assessed at the rate of $30.00 per hour, payable in May 2025. Failure to pay your service hours in full by the May deadline will result in a $20 late fee.
Not completing the service hour commitment jeopardizes the 8th grade students’ participation in graduation activities, as well as enrollment for TK-7 students for the following school year.

Dear Friends and Families of Assumption School,
Tonight is our annual Spring Concert! I am so excited to see our wonderful students perform! Thank you to our students and Mr. Vaughan for preparing a great show! The show starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Church!
- Students should arrive in their Sunday-best by 6:15 p.m. in their designated student areas (side pews and Choir areas)
- Guests and family members can sit in the center pews.
- We plan to livestream this event using our Parish Facebook page.
This Monday was the last day of our Rite of Passage Exit interviews with our Class of 2025. Thank you to our wonderful students and their families for their commitment to Assumption School! These beautiful reflections have been testaments of the love and dedication you have for your students' education. I enjoyed being a part of them! Congrats to the Class of 2025!
I had so much fun on Monday sharing this great job with Ms. Britt, our student Principal for the Day. Ms. Britt had a number of fun activities to do including teacher observations and notes, commenting on a few of those 8th grade ROPEs presentations, and helping out with yard duty. It is a lot of fun. Her reflection is below.
Tomorrow afternoon, Assumption School will email to families their final Parent Hours Statement and Fundraising yearend totals. Please note that incomplete Parent Hours are billed at $30 per hour and are due by May 30, 2025. Completing parent hours is part of your Parent School Agreement signed during registration. We understand the importance of your time and talent shared with the school and require 30 hours total. Thank you for all the time and work committed to helping create the thriving Assumption School and Parish community. We are truly grateful for your commitment.
And finally, wishing our CYO athletes well wishes as they complete their Spring seasons! Congrats to our Track and Field team, Girls Basketball teams, and our Sand Volleyball teams! We have some wonderful results coming we think after a great season.
