The Assumption School 8th grade class recently took another exciting step toward their future by continuing their High School tours with a visit to Moreau Catholic High School on Tuesday, September 29th.
During their time on campus, the students were treated to a tour of the facilities, getting a firsthand look at high school life, modern classrooms, and vibrant student spaces. The visit wasn't just about exploring the campus, though—our 8th graders also put their critical thinking and teamwork skills to the test during a creative building challenge. Working in teams, they were tasked with designing and constructing a unique object or tool that could be used in high school. The came up with a backpack, computer, algebra book, and even a bible! The day wrapped up with a community lunch, giving the students a chance to chat, reflect on their experience, and envision themselves as future high schoolers. Go Mariners!
Next up, our 8th grade girls will tour Holy Names Catholic High School!
