My name is Rosie Clyne, and I am absolutely thrilled to join the Assumption family as your new 5th-grade teacher!
For the past three years, I’ve taught Freshman Art at Saint Mary’s College High School in Albany. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Art History from Sonoma State University, where I focused on the Italian Renaissance and Mannerism. One of the highlights of my college experience was spending my junior year studying abroad in Florence, Italy.
Teaching fifth grade has always been my dream, and I couldn’t be more excited to begin this new adventure with such a wonderful community. When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll likely find me napping with my black cat, Harvey, solving crossword puzzles, or singing along to Taylor Swift during a drive.
I can’t wait to get to know each of you and partner with our amazing families to make this a joyful, engaging, and memorable school year!
