In 2011, Anton Uniforms was born from the need of an affordable and convenient alternative to standard school uniform providers, and the desire to provide exceptional service to parents who invest so much in their children's education.  When John and Amy Anton's children began attending schools that required uniforms, they were immediately struck by the lack of service and high prices associated with established uniform suppliers. The Anton's dealt with backordered or out-of-stock items, with some unavailable until after school had already started.  Not exactly convenient.

Having been in the apparel business for over thirty years as the owner of both Anton Sport and DesignAShirt, John knew other parents were facing limited options and the inflated costs that can sometimes follow.  He knew there had to be a better way and decided to do something about it.  After contacting the premier companies in the school uniform business and securing accounts, John released pricing in November of 2011. The results were instantaneous; numerous schools asked Anton Uniforms to be their supplier.  As a team, we agreed to take two or three schools our first year.  As it turned out, every school we approached signed up – much more than our expectations!

In 2025, Anton Uniforms partnered with Bancroft Uniforms to supply school uniforms to the Bay Area. Anton Uniforms will now provide service to Assumption School for the 2026-2027 school year.
