Honoring Our Assumption Alumni

Four years ago, the Assumption School 8th-Grade Class of 2022 gathered in our church to celebrate their graduation and prepare to take on the world. Today, we are incredibly proud to celebrate them as they graduate from high school! Over the last four years, these outstanding alumni have pushed boundaries, mastered their talents, and grown into incredible leaders.

Our alumni are scattering across the map to attend an incredible lineup of higher education institutions. From prestigious state universities to specialized colleges across the nation, the Trojan legacy is going coast-to-coast:

American University (Washington DC), Arizona State University, California State University East Bay, Chabot College, CSU Long Beach, Marist University, Northeastern University, Pepperdine University, University of Hawaii at Mānoa, University of Nevada Reno, University of San Francisco (USF), UC Berkeley, and UC Santa Barbara (UCSB).

Leaving a Lasting Mark

The sheer amount of talent in this class is breathtaking. Over their high school careers, these graduates have truly shined. They have been recognized on a national scale with prestigious awards like the Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award, the JGANC Player of the Year Scholarship, and the Sara Bareilles Student Reporter Award.

In the classroom, they proved to be academic powerhouses, earning spots on Principal's Lists, the 201 Club, the California Scholarship Federation, and the National Honors Society.

Beyond academics, their leadership took center stage. They served as varsity captains in golf and volleyball, earned All-League honors, and devoted their time to community organizations like the Black Student Union, Solidarity in Action, and local peer tutoring. Their creativity even stole the spotlight, with student artwork featured in published literary magazines and AP Art exhibitions.

Congratulations to the High School Class of 2026! Go out and make your unique mark on the world, and never forget that you always have a home at Assumption.
