Moon Gazing Family Night
Join us for a Moon Gazing Family Night! Come for the whole time or just stop by. Jupiter will also be making an appearance!

When: Wednesday, May 27th

What time: 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM (viewing likely will start around 8:30 PM after setting up and the night sky is visible)

Where: Assumption School parking lot
Ms. Hammond is providing one telescope and binoculars, but the Eastbay Astronomical Society is providing resources and telescopes as well.
Activities include:

Moon sketching

Constellation cards

Moon myth readings

Crater observation activity
Families Are Encouraged to Bring:

blankets or lawn chairs

warm layers/jackets

water bottles
-
binoculars, if you have them
Families are welcome (but not required) to bring:

telescopes to share
-
snacks or drinks
-
acoustic instruments for quiet, informal music
