Get ready for a cherry-tastic day of fun!
Assumption School is excited to once again bring our school spirit to the San Leandro Cherry Festival with a hand-built float, smiling students, a walking group that never ends, and a community booth full of familiar faces.
Float decorating begins the week of June 1, and the big celebration takes place on Saturday, June 6. Students riding on the Assumption float and any walking parties must arrive by 9:15 a.m. at the San Leandro BART station, as the parade begins rolling at 10:00 a.m. sharp. After the parade, be sure to stop by our booth between 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to celebrate with fellow Assumption families and friends.
The Cherry Festival is a free, joy-filled tradition and a wonderful way to show our Assumption pride as we wrap up another fantastic school year.
We're also looking for volunteers to help staff our booth — a sweet way to complete next year's service hours before summer begins! Keep an eye out for the upcoming SignUpGenius link with volunteer opportunities and festival details.
