What is Women’s History Month?
Women’s History Month is an important time to celebrate Women’s achievements and their many important accomplishments. Women's History Month also highlights and shows the struggles and the difficulties that women had to fight to gain equal rights. It first came from local celebrations in California and eventually grew to include the whole country.
Why does Women’s History Month matter to our community?
Women’s History Month is important because it helps bring recognition to the often overlooked achievements of women throughout history. It also helps promote gender equality by showing how much women can do and have done and giving women the recognition that is deserved. The month also serves as a reminder to advocate for more change in society.
How does Assumption Celebrate?
