Yesterday, our school gym came alive with a beautiful celebration of our global community. We are so grateful to everyone who helped us honor the diverse roots and traditions that make our school so special. It was wonderful to see our students rock their cultural outfits and to see the gym filled with such incredible energy and pride.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our event chairs, Katherine Rubio, Erika Mendoza, and Shyrla Llanes, for their leadership and vision. We also want to recognize our 7th-grade docents for their hard work presenting 31 different countries, as well as the performers who shared their music and dance with us. To the many volunteers and families who helped with setup and logistics, thank you for making this meaningful day of community and connection possible.
