February 11 Save the Date - Anniversary of the First Mass

Save the Date - Anniversary of the First Mass on Wednesday, February 11 6:00 PM Mass, followed by a Homecoming Reception in the Gym.

On February 11, 1951, the first Mass of Assumption Parish was celebrated on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes at the Bal Theatre on East 14th Street, before our church was built.

For two years, Sunday Masses were held in the theatre while the parish grew and the church was completed.

Seventy-five years later, we will gather again to give thanks for our past and renew our mission for the future.

This evening will be a homecoming celebration, welcoming past and present parishioners, school families, alumni, and friends.

Former priests, principals, and staff have been invited, and all are encouraged to help spread the word so no one misses this special milestone.

School families: Come and celebrate with your teachers, staff, and community. Those students in school uniform and in attendance will receive a free dress pass and parent hour!

Our Children's Choir are our cantors and choir.

Our students and school will be actively participating with some students asked to be lectors, gift bearers, and greeters.
