🎵 M.U.S.E. Band Update: Winter Workshops & Concert

Hi M.U.S.E. Parents,

I want to encourage you to consider bringing your child out to our next set of Band Workshops this Sunday, December 7.

These workshops are a fantastic way for your child to receive extra attention and experience playing with students from other schools. We use these sessions to prepare for our upcoming performances, and we feel that events like this help inspire your child in their musical endeavors!

📝 Note from the Director: You should have received emails from M.U.S.E. Director Mr. Bryant Allard regarding these events. If you are not receiving them, please contact him immediately at [email protected] so we can update our list.

❄️ Upcoming Event: Annual Winter Band Concert

We are currently working on music for our major winter event! Students from all M.U.S.E. schools in the East Bay will combine to perform as one large ensemble.

• Date: Sunday, Feb. 22

• Time: 1:00 PM

• Location: Bishop O’Dowd High School (Theater), Oakland

Students will have the unique opportunity to perform on a high school stage, hear the Bishop O’Dowd Band play, and even perform alongside them on select pieces. It is always a fun event, and we hope you can make it.

Please let Mr. Allard know if you plan to attend the upcoming Workshop and/or the Concert. This is vital for our preparation.

You have a choice of two locations for the workshop this Sunday. Please choose the one most convenient for you.

Option 1: El Cerrito

Location: Rockin' Robbies (11225 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito)

• 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Beginning Band Students

• 12:45 PM – 1:45 PM: Intermediate/Advanced Students

Option 2: Hayward

Location: St. Clement (790 Calhoun St, Hayward)

• 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Beginning Band Students

• 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM: Intermediate/Advanced Students
