Our parish is proud to announce that this October, our monthly Brown Bag Project will be dedicated to supporting Lasagna Love, a national nonprofit with a simple and powerful mission: to feed families, spread kindness, and strengthen communities, one lasagna at a time.
Going beyond just addressing food insecurity, Lasagna Love provides a tangible act of love and encouragement to families navigating stressful situations. Your generosity can help deliver this message of comfort and support.
How You Can Help
There are two key ways you can contribute to this wonderful cause:
1. Donate Ingredients: We are collecting the non-perishable components for the lasagnas. Donations can be dropped off at [Insert Drop-off Location Here]. We are in need of:
-
Jars of tomato sauce
-
Boxed dry lasagna noodles
-
Aluminum pans & foil
-
Gloves
-
Safeway gift cards (which will be used to purchase perishable items like ground beef, cheese, and herbs)
2. Volunteer to Cook: For those who want to get hands-on, we will be hosting a community cooking day later this month in the Parish Center. Together, we will assemble the lasagnas that will be delivered to local families. The exact date and time will be announced shortly, so please stay tuned for an opportunity to share your time and talent.
Every contribution, whether an ingredient or an hour of your time, helps deliver not just a meal, but also a message of hope and kindness to our neighbors.
