If you are 18, 118, or any age in between, this course is especially designed for you!  It is never too late, nor too early, to unravel the mystery of our own human sexuality and our shared vocation to love.  After all, everyone has a driving desire to love and to be loved!

To be sure, we were loved into existence by God, who is a relationship of love between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  In other words, God is love!  Our love for each other is meant to be a reflection of that deep mystery of God’s eternal exchange of love!  Living that vision is our shared vocation!

  • Why do we have a sexual urge?
  • How do we experience the Affirmation of the Value of the Person?
  • Since when did the Catholic Church consider shame to be a good thing?
  • Where does our relationships and shared vocation to love fit into this?

We will explore these questions and many more in this overview of St. John Paul II’s first masterpiece Love and Responsibility.  These presentations will also provide some introductory thoughts and a foundation to better understand his subsequent masterpiece, popularly known as The Theology of the Body or TOB.  TOB will be the topic for a future session in Faith Formation!
