This fun family weekend is the event of the year for our parish and school families. It occurs in September and the students and adults look forward to the outdoor community-building event, which includes food, games, contests and entertainment.
We hope to see our entire community help and support our Annual Festival. It is family fun for the whole family but we cannot do it without your help. Ohana means supporting each other. There are lots of ways to provide your support and get your required five Festival hours and fulfill almost ALL your parent hours.
Here are some IMPORTANT roles that need YOUR HELP:
Food Booth Chair: Know how to make something delicious to sell? Become a food booth chair! We need good food and good food always raises great money for the Festival!
Sunday Brunch Chair: Host the Sunday Brunch? Get together with parents in the class to host our annual Sunday Brunch -- pancakes, sausage, fruit salad ... done done and done!
Donations Chair: Know how to call local businesses, connect with parent business partners, or just encourage donations? Be our Donations Chair and help us offset the costs of the Festival!
Prize Booth Chair: Every festival needs Prizes ... We need a Prize Booth Chair. The prizes are usually donations that come from our families, you would be in charge of making sure all that is presented nicely and coordinate the volunteers who help in that booth! (This is a co-chair position)
Other chair positions needed: Overnight Security, Soccer Booth, Facepainting Booth (Mrs. Rocheford is known to be an active volunteer in this booth -- just need someone to do the crowd control and decoration the booth), Soda Toss Booth, Friday Stage Assistant, Saturday Stage Assistant, Sponsorship Banner Management, High School and Volunteer Coordinator, and Parish Sunday Sales Chair.
Not ready to be a chair? There are also shifts to complete your 5 hour family commitment, for alumni to help out, and for our community to help each other!
Don't know what to do, how to do it, or nervous about it all falling to you? Ohana means family and there is a great Festival support team ready to help any first time volunteer chairs who are willing to do the work!
Together we can make the Festival GREAT!
