Read Across America is a reading motivation and awareness program that focuses on “Celebrating a Nation of Diverse Readers. It culminates with call for every community to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss. TK, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grades will be celebrating the Day on Friday, March 1, with special activities in each class, highlighted by a visit from the Cat in the Hat, who will be reading us one of his favorite stories. We will all take the Read Across America pledge: “I promise to read, every day and every night. I know it’s the key to growing up right.”
