Assumption Community's February Brown Bag Ministry is making personal, thoughtful cards for the young inmates in our local Juvenile Hall as well as for the patients at John George Psychiatric Hospital in San Leandro.
This was a creative activity for our team last week. Please join us in this task and create your own cards to be shared with others within our community. Any cards completed can be dropped off at the rectory before the end of this month.
Next Event: "Eat, Pray and Give": Please join us this Friday, 2/23 @ 6:30 in the church as AYSAT is sponsoring the Stations of the Cross service and it will be followed by a Soup meal in the new Ministry Center. Next Meeting: this Sunday, 2/25 following the School's 10am Mass in the Ministry Center. Our hope is to start our Butterfly Garden if the rain will give us a break to do so!
