Help brighten the first days of school for homeless children at our shelters!
As children prepare for a new school year, we want to ensure they are well equipped and feeling confident! We need your help to set kids up for success in this new school year!
Gift cards are amazing! They give families the ability to respond to the child’s most immediate need! We’ve also set up a “shopping list” to raise money for high need items to set up the children for success--you can add multiple “items” when you donate. New shoes and new clothing are at the top of this list for children at the Alameda Midway Shelter, San Leandro Shelter and our Domestic Violence Safe House.
On average, 51% of the residents at our 3 emergency homeless shelters are children. Now more than ever, your support is appreciated! Please share with family, friends, churches, community groups, and anyone you think would be interested!
