Students gather in faith families to send holiday cheer

Friday, December 3, 8th graders helped their school faith families make holiday cards to Meals on Wheels recipients to spread holiday cheer. Faith families are groups of cross grade students led by the 8th graders (sometimes 7th graders) to pray, do a fun activity, and learn about an important season or fact. Faith families this year have learned about their FF patron saint, made Thanksgiving giving thanks turkeys, and this month served their community by making these greeting cards.

After making the cards, each family participated in Nativity Bingo with winners receiving a candy cane prize. Thanks to our Junior High leaders for such a wonderful event.
