The Diocese of Oakland requires that all volunteers who have regular contact with children are Live Scan fingerprinted and cleared. This includes parents who volunteer at our school events including but not limited to our school Festival, class field trips, school lunch support, CYO sports coaching, or in-class volunteering.
This LiveScan fingerprinting registration with the Diocese is valid the entire time you are a volunteer at Assumption School or Parish. If you are a returning parent/volunteer that has already been LiveScan fingerprinted through Assumption School or the Oakland Diocese, you do NOT need to sign up.
