Assumption School parents can now earn service hours for the school by volunteering at Assumption Church. The Church is in need of:
- Guides (to help maintain social distancing protocols, etc) at the Drive-Thru Communion (11:45am on Sundays) and at indoor Masses (4:30pm Saturday and 10:30am Sunday). Guides are especially needed for the Drive-Thru Communions. No training is required to be a Guide and you do not need to be a registered parishioner at the Church to serve in this capacity.
- Lectors at the Indoor Masses (4:30pm Saturday and 10:30am Sunday). To serve as a lector, you'll need to be a registered parishioner and confirmed Catholic. And, you'll need to complete a brief training so you know the ins and outs of the position.
How to volunteer for these positions:
- If you've volunteered at the Church before and are already signed up in the online Ministry Scheduling Program, simply log in to the system and volunteer for an open position.
