Assumption School learns about our community

On February 3, during our Socially Responsible Citizens Day, we celebrated our Community Helpers by hosting virtual field trips to the SF General Hospital NICU, San Leandro City Hall, San Leandro Library, a fire station, golden eagle nest, a dairy farm, and even our own critter rescuer, Mrs. Wolf.

Students listened to presentations and asked questions to our guests. We are grateful to our local community helpers that do so much for all of us.

This is day three of our Catholic Schools Week festivities.

Each year, Assumption School celebrates our commitment excellence with a special week called Catholic Schools Week. Catholic Schools nationwide celebrate during the same week. Our events will be virtual and Zoom links will be provided in our daily morning assemblies.
