Assumption School honors Marnelle Ducey for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October

Dear friends,

All of us have been greatly impacted by Covid-19. What was normal some 7 or 8 months ago is a distant memory. Everything in our lives seems to have been turned upside down. Sadly though, cancer does not care what is or has happened in our lives. It just keeps coming at us. 2020 has been a very challenging year for me personally when it comes to cancer beginning in March when I lost my brother Mike to cancer. Since then I have lost 3 friends to this killing disease.

Breast cancer is my focus now with October being Breast Cancer Awareness month. As many of you know this terrible cancer took my wife Marnelle in December 2005. She walked for several years to raise funds in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walks for researching cures and treatments along with providing critical services to cancer victims and their families. Great strides have been made, but there is more work to be done. Please consider a donation in any amount. Just click on the following link

and it will take you to my page. Read my story and if you can, please consider a financial gift.

Thank you,
