Assumption Steps Up Walk-a-Thon

Starting Wednesday, 4/29/20 through Wednesday, 5/6/20, students will be tracking their daily steps order to encourage them to get outside and exercise. Students will be asked to count and report their steps from the previous day using their teacher's morning attendance form (the form will have that extra question during this week only).

Set a goal for your student/family and choose a time everyday or every couple of days to walk together. Let's see how many steps you can complete in a week! Share your goal with your friends and family to help them cheer you on and pledge their support online through the school's website (the link will be sent out when it's live).

What we know about our community is that Together, We Can Do Great Things and if every family is able to raise at least $100, we will reach our goal!

Below you will find a link to a tracking form that your family can use to track your daily steps so you're ready to go when you receive the daily attendance email. It also includes tips and ideas of how to easily track steps and how to make it fun. While this is a fundraiser and we do hope to raise money, we also recognize that each family has been impacted differently by COVID-19. Please know that we want this to be an activity that brings joy and community, not anxiety and hardship.

We will offer prizes throughout the week, so be on the lookout for more information coming soon.
