Dear Assumption Families,
As per the directive of Alameda County Public Health Department, Assumption School WILL NOT BE OPEN tomorrow. All staff are asked to stay home and follow the shelter in place. With that in mind, please arrange for any supplies, textbooks or devices to be picked up before 3:45 p.m. TODAY. We will not be able to open the school tomorrow.
Please note that we will continue to practice distance learning beginning on Wednesday. Emails from teachers will be sent to families starting on this day. I will also send any updates I receive about the length of our Long-Term Dismissal as per the decisions and recommendations I receive from the Alameda County Public Health Department as well as the Diocese of Oakland Department of Catholic Schools.
We are grateful to see the smiling faces of our students today. They played and smiled ... they worked and learned. They were calm, strong and loving as well as loved by others. We know these days will not be easy, and our teachers and staff are dedicated to support you during this time with solid learning opportunities.
