Brian Copeland Performs: "Not a Genuine Black Man" the longest running solo comedy show in San Francisco History. An evening of laughter, tears and sociology. Stand up comic Brian
Copeland’s brings back his classic solo show about growing up in the
suburbs. In 1971, San Leandro was named one of the most racist
suburbs in America. In 1972, the then eight-year-old Brian and his
African-American family moved to San Leandro. In a monologue that’s
both funny and poignant, Brian explores how surroundings make us
who we are.
