Today we honor Veterans Day, a national holiday observed on November 11 to celebrate and thank all military veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces. This date is deeply important because it marks the anniversary of the 1918 armistice that ended the fighting of World War I, which went into effect on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. As a community, we pray in gratitude for the immense courage, sacrifices, and dedication of our veterans, and we ask God to bless them and keep them in His care.
