The 3rd and 4th grade collect 592 items for Assumption Parish's St. Vincent de Paul pantry!

The 4th grade Webelos den of Cub Scout Pack 556 carried out a toiletries drive during the month of March to complete their Duty to God adventure. Encouraged by Assumption teachers Ms. Blum in 4th grade, and Mrs. Lobo in 3rd grade the classes supported their Scouts by having a friendly collection competition. The 3rd grade collected 275 items and the 4th grade 317!!! All items will be going to support Assumption Parish's St. Vincent de Paul pantry.

From Mr. Denis Ducey:

Dear Alicia, Allie, and Lana..........The wonderful efforts of the Assumption School 3rd and 4th graders provided much needed items for the Assumption St Vincent de Paul Conference at this Easter time, Often the less fortunate sisters and brothers in our churches, cities, and communities are in need of the very basic hygiene necessities that most of us take for granted. The children's contributions will go a long way to bring a smile on the faces of our brothers and sisters. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

God bless you,

Denis
