Resource Program
Assumption School offers an on-site Resource/Special Needs Program to provide extra academic help to students in grades K-8. Resource teachers and a school psychologist work closely with the classroom teachers and parents to meet the individual needs of each student. Educational testing, referrals, and both pull out and in class assistance are provided. Diverse learning styles are supported with research based teaching methods. The program strives to help every child be a successful learner and achieve his/her educational goals. Special needs students are valued members of the Assumption community.
