Oregon Homeschool Reading List
- This homeschool site has a list of books for fourth graders by author. It is a limited list, but a fairly good resource.
- Hedgehog Books has a small list, but each book has a written description. The books on this list can be purchased through Hedgehog Books.
- This site is from Scholastic Books. It is a site that is meant more for teachers, but anyone can use it. It is a bit awkward to navigate. Use the "Search Shared Book Lists" on the right side of this first page to find lists. As with the previous site there is a description of the books.
Portland Public Schools Leveled Books
- This is a site created by Portland Public Schools in Oregon. If you click on "Book list sorted by Grade Level" there is a very long list of books for all grades. No descriptions, but an extensive list of books.
- This California mission history site has information about each mission. This site will be used by the students for a school project during the 2nd trimester.
Pictures of the California Missions
- This site has wonderful pictures of the California missions. This site will be used by the students for a school project during the 2nd trimester.
California Missions Resource Center
- The CA Missions Resource site has an organized format for each mission. It also includes a mission timeline and some additional historical facts about California.
- The CA Historical Society site has timeline and a brief history of California. This site will be used by the students for research purposes.
California State Railroad Museum
- In the spring, the students will go on a field trip to this museum in Sacramento. So take a sneak preview of the great things we will see!
- San Leandro has a fabulous library. If you have a library card, take advantage of this great resource our community offers.
